    Cassette + Digital Album

    An edition of eight cassettes with handmade covers, recycled from an audio book boxed set of the same title.
    Each side of the tape contains a 'music by the metre' composition. As each tape was recorded sequentially, each is unique. The covers are made from digital and cut-and-paste collage of images taken from the original boxed set, with a printed tracing paper overlay. Each cover is slightly different..

    Whispers of the Dead was made in October 2015 for The Penthouse Press Gang, for Sluice Art Fair.

    Includes unlimited streaming of Whispers of the Dead via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Recorded October 2015 using the Music by the Metre method.
Edition of 8 tapes, individually recorded with hand made covers, and digital download.
The recordings were made with automated machines which were left to run, each tape recorded in succession so that each is different to the last while containing sound from the same set of sources.
The digital recordings are direct recordings from one of the eight tapes, selected at random.

Made for The Penthouse Press Gang, launched at Sluice Art Fair 2015.
